On December 20, 2022, on the sideline of the third Tehran Dialogue Forum under the title of “Neighborhood Policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran: An Approach to Friendship and Trust”, the director of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Usmonzoda Khayriddin met with the head of the Presidential Center of Iran for Strategic Studies, Mohammad Sadegh Khayatian.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed further development of cooperation between the state-run think tanks of Tajikistan and Iran.
At the outset of the meeting, Mohammad Sadegh Khayatian welcomed Tajik delegation to Presidential Center of Iran and expressed his views on important aspects of further cooperation between the two countries, in particular energy, industry, agriculture, transport, etc.
In his turn, Usmonzoda informed about the recent achievements of multifaceted relations between the two countries and assessed the interest of Tajikistan in attracting investments of Iranian entrepreneurs in the fields of transport, industry, energy and other fields benefit for both parties.
During the meeting, the parties also expressed their desire to expand and strengthen the scientific-analytical cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting took place in the spirit of friendship and mutual understanding.
